Vintage flag/noren for Children’s Day Celebrations in Japan. Hand painted cotton fabric, circa 1960. In very good condition. This flag represents the river, with fish scales, ripples and reeds. There are some faint marks on this item, consistent with it’s age, but the fabric is structurally sound. A great piece.
