Japanese Vintage Tsumugi Silk, with Karakusa Arabesque Design

This is a complete roll of fabric for the construction of a kimono, approximately 12m in length.  It features a rust coloured base with green winding plant –  karakusa/arabesque – design which symbolises good fortune and longevity.  Tsumigi silk is very highly regarded in Japan and one of their  finest silks.  Please note that the true colour is best shown in the first two pictures, it is a green vine, not blue.
