A rare bronze statue depicting Daikoku, one of the Japanese seven gods of luck. Known as the god of farmers, wealth, food, and good fortune.
This statue depicts Daikoku standing on two bales of rice and a large sack of treasure. He is also holding a magic mallet (of plenty) which is believed to produce anything desired when struck.
