In Japan, May 5 is a public holiday celebrating Children’s Day. This day was originally supposed to celebrate boys and wish for their success in life, and therefore is sometimes referred to by its traditional name: Tango no Sekku, or Boys’ Day.
Comes with a 4 panel gold leaf screen, 58cm wide x 105cm high (each panel) and a black lacquered box.
Armour when set up is 55cm wide, 43cm deep and 118cm high.
